The inaugural Derek Moore Memorial Lecture - booking essential

This special evening lecture - hosted jointly by SWT Ipswich Local Group and Suffolk Ornithologists’ Group - is being held in memory of Derek Moore. As many will know, Derek was formerly Director of Suffolk Wildlife Trust and also a long-standing member of SOG.

We have invited leading conservationist Dr Mark Avery to reflect from his wide experiences on the current state of wildlife conservation across the UK.

Proceeds from the evening will go to the SWT Suffolk Broads appeal to fund land acquisitions that will greatly extend and enhance the Trust’s landholding at Carlton Marshes. This reserve was created during Derek’s time at Suffolk Wildlife Trust and was one of his proudest achievements. Let’s see how many more square metres we can rescue for wildlife!

Places are £7 per person (over 12's only please), but any additional donations towards the Suffolk Broads Appeal will be most welcome.

4.15pm 15th November If you would like to attend there are places available with payment taken on the door
