Brooke House

Brooke House is in the village of Ashbocking, to the north of Ipswich.

Brooke House is in the village of Ashbocking, to the north of Ipswich. The original cottage was left to the Trust by Mary Brooke who lived in the house. Today it has been adapted and extended – but retains its charm and character. 

The house is surrounded by gardens with fruit trees and a pond, in which water vole have been spotted.About 25 members of staff and a small team of volunteers work from Brooke House.

Activities at Brooke House range from the creation of our magazine, leaflets and website to monitoring planning applications and manning our Wildline advice service it is also where the day to day finances of the Trust are managed.
