Location: Foxburrow Farm

We are looking for volunteers to help with reserve management work.

What you’ll be doing:

Reserves management work on our 130 acre site is varied but would include practical conservation tasks on our meadows, woodlands and ponds to develop them as wildlife habitats and as good teaching resources.

The skills you need:

No experience necessary but an interest in the Trust's work would be useful. You will need to be fit enough to carry out some physical work.

What you’ll get out of it:

You will learn more about the management of the reserve and gain experience volunteering with a conservation organization. You will also get to meet Trust staff and other volunteers. Last but by no means least, the work is always varied, thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding and tea and coffee is provided on site to reward you for your hard work!

The time you need to give:

Fortnightly usually on a Friday starting at 9.30am.

Other information:

Full training, tools and protective clothing are provided but please bring wellies and stout work boots, plus a hearty packed lunch!
