We are looking for volunteers to give presentations to promote the work of Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

What you’ll be doing:

Presenting a specific talk about Suffolk Wildlife Trust to community groups, clubs and associations in your area of the county and promoting active participation in all areas of our work.

The skills you need:

You will need good communication skills and enjoy speaking to large groups of people. You will also need to have an ongoing interest in the work of Suffolk Wildlife Trust, be an independent car user and be happy to lift projector equipment and promotional material to and from venues.

What you’ll get out of it:

Instant feedback, the chance to feel part of making a difference for Suffolk’s wildlife and opening up new opportunities for local people to rediscover the value of the natural world. You will be part of a team of volunteer speakers around the county.

The time you need to give:

Minimum of three talks each year. Volunteers are approached for availability on a request by request basis. Mainly evenings throughout the year and often through September –May. Some day time requests.

Other information:

Some understanding of the Wildlife Trusts is advantageous. Must be willing and able to access equipment from nearest centre and travel at night time. Happy to talk and use projector in tandem.
