About the event

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TUTOR FOR THIS COURSE HAS CHANGED FROM THE ONE STATED IN 'WHAT'S ON' AND IS NOW SARAH BROWN.

The art of needle felting involves a barbed needle and woolly fibres.  There is no sewing or gluing involved. All participants will be taught the basics of needle felting and then taught to make their own mini needle felted hare.

Sarah Brown is a member of The International Feltmakers Association, has been teaching needle felting for nearly a year and a half and has been felting for 4 and a half years.  She has written articles and reviews for British Fibre Art Magazine, as well as the Foreward for Steffi Sterns new book, “Making Simple Needle Felts.”  Sarah also has a regular column in the new Needle Felting Magazine, available from March 2019.

All materials and tools will be supplied, as well as tea/coffee and biscuits. There will also be an opportunity to purchase some supplies to keep you going in your new hobby.
