About the event
The course will start at 8.30am to ensure that any moths captured overnight can be studied and released without delay.
During the day, Hawk will help you to recognise different insects and learn about their differing life cycles and habitats. You will discover the wealth of insect life at Lackford Lakes and learn what to look out for when identifying insects.
You will be outside on the reserve for most of the morning, using sweep nets to see what you can find, so please wear suitable clothing and stout footwear.

- A camera if you wish
Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided and are included in the cost of the course.
