About the event

Learn all about the plants themselves, techniques and how to fix the colours. Dye a selection of samples on both animal and vegetable fibres to take away as well as an eco-friendly mordant and hand out.

Course leader will be Fay Jones (The Woodland Haberdasher). Fay runs a number of courses on natural dyeing, spoon carving and more. Fay will also be running our Wild Skills evening courses for teens and adults in 2020.

Suitable for beginners.

Please bring: Lunch, suitable clothing for inside and out, camera and notebook if you wish, handouts provided. All other equipment and materials will be provided. 

Tea, coffee and biscuits provided free throughout the day.
