Silk painting workshop
About the event
- Please note, we will only be taking bookings for this event once we have been given guidance from the government that it is safe to do so.
Guided by local craftswoman, Alison Miller, you will create a beautiful work of art using vibrant colours on Chinese silk. Drawing on the colours of nature and the simple methods of the ancient technique of Shibori dyeing - with a modern twist, you will produce exciting designs that are truly unique.
Alison is a member of the Guild of Silk Painters and has been exploring this exciting craft for several years. She is delighted to be sharing it with others.
