About the event

There is just one place left on this course as we have reduced participant numbers to 6 in line with new Government Covid guidelines.

Lound Lakes is a wonderfully wildlife rich site containing a mosaic of habitats, including woodland, acid and lowland grassland, open water, rush pasture and fen meadow.

In addition to these incredible backdrops there is a wonderful garden to explore. Kevin will guide you on the techniques you can employ to capture the perfect shot and provide you with some hints & tips for getting the best out of your camera. You will receive one-to-one as well as group guidance on optimising your composition and have the chance to put some novel techniques into practice on this lovely reserve.

You will need to bring:
All camera equipment (including spare batteries, memory cards)
Notebook and pen
A tripod would be useful
A packed lunch and any additional refreshments you may need
Please wear stout footwear and weather-suitable clothing for the outdoor session.

Teas & Coffees will be available throughout the day and are included the price of the course.

In order to run activity sessions safely while the COVID-19 pandemic is still in effect, we have put in place a number of restrictions in the best interest of all participants, staff and volunteers. We appreciate you following the guidelines we have set out.

It is important that you read and agree to the following information before you book.

  • During the session you will be required to socially distance at the Government recommended 2m.
  • All participants will be required to use sanitising hand gel on arrival. This will be provided and will be available for you to use at any additional points during the day, should you wish to.
  • If you are showing ANY signs or symptoms of COVID-19, or you have been told by NHS Track and Trace to isolate, you must not attend this event.
  • You are required to wear a face mask whenever you are in the centre.
  • We have reduced the number of participants to just six to comply with the latest Government guidelines.
