Event details

Sat, 14/04/2018 - 10:30am - 3:30pm

With the Trust’s stunning Carlton Marshes reserve as your backdrop, you will spend a fascinating day uncovering the secrets of our otherwise unpredictable weather. (Please note that this event has been rescheduled from the published date of March 17)

Experienced local tutor, Mark Lewis, will guide you through the dynamics of weather conditions: the causes and effects, and what to expect when you plan your expeditions. By studying cloud formations, wind directions and other  conditions, you will gain a greater understanding of what is happening to our ever-changing weather. You will explore macro climate issues, Suffolk- and habitat-specific weather patterns, and the impacts on wildlife, which will give you a greater understanding and ability to predict what the weather will do next, and why.

Please bring:
A packed lunch
A notepad & pen
Comfortable, warm clothing

Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided throughout the day and are included in the price of the course.

When booking please ensure your email/contact address is correct as it will be used to send event joining instructions. If you do not receive these instructions after booking, please contact: wildlearning@suffolkwildlifetrust.org
