Join us for the Knettishall Fair this Sunday

Wednesday 9th August 2017

The Knettishall Fair, a celebration of Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s work with the community over the last five years, takes place this Sunday

Suffolk Wildlife Trust has been looking after Knettishall Heath for over five years now and in that time has developed a deep relationship with the local community.

Volunteers and visitors have all worked together to restore the habitat and species for everyone to enjoy at this wonderful Breckland site. As many species start to recover and return, our programme of education visits and events have grown alongside them.

The Knettishall Fair, running for its second ever time this year, has become a celebration of all that we have achieved on the reserve with the local community.

Come along to find out about the work we do for wildlife as well as that of other conservation organisations such as local bee keepers, the Exmoor Pony society and the Suffolk Bat Group.

The fair will offer stallholders selling wares such as plants and handmade jewellery, with local craft demonstrators including leather working, spinning, dyeing and wood craft.

Refreshments will be available alongside family activities such as mini beast hunting and trails.

No need to book just come along between 11am and 4pm. Entrance is free but car parking is £1.
