About the event

The course will be presented by founder of Suffolk Prickles Hedgehog Rescue, Paula Baker, who has run many successful and enjoyable courses for Suffolk Wildlife Trust over the years as she shares her passion for these beautiful creatures.

Paula will reveal hedgehogs’ lineage, their preferred habitats, behaviour and feeding habits as well as how we can help them overcome the challenges they face in our gardens today. Hedgehog numbers have dropped alarmingly in the past ten years and we fear that up to a third of the UK’s population has been lost. Participants on the course, both older and younger, will be encouraged to do all they can for hedgehogs in our county and guided to understand how to provide support for this endearing and endangered creature.

Parents/carers pay the usual £30 price for an adult place and can bring their 11-16 year old with them for just £10 extra. When booking please ensure your email/contact address is correct as it will be used to send event joining instructions. If you do not receive these instructions after booking, please contact: info@suffolkwildlifetrust.org

If any of the courses you wish to attend are full or you cannot make the date, please let us know so that we can register your interest and let you know of opportunities planned for the future. You can contact us on: info@suffolkwildlifetrust.org or Tel: 01473 890 089.
