About the event

Young Naturalists, the monthly nature club for wildlife enthusiasts aged 11-16 years.

A session for unaccompanied teens, exploring the wildlife of the reserve, with trails, activities, games and crafts. Whether you know your greenfinches from your goldfinches or are just keen to get started, come along to learn about our weird and wonderful natural world, brush up your I.D skills, meet new friends and take action for nature.

This month's theme: Bird bonanza! Learn how to identify the birds of Lackford Lakes as our huge winter migrant population settles in. Learn why they travel so far and what they get up to while they're here!

Young Naturalists runs on the 3rd Saturday every month, you are welcome to join any time of year! Check our events page for latest updates and sessions
