About the event
Surrounded by the beauty of Bradfield Woods, embark on a deeply relaxing journey of sound healing. This special session is one of two sound baths part of the Festival of Nature this year, providing a peaceful and rejuvenating end to your week.
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where you are gently “bathed” in sound using instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes, and handpan. The vibrations and tones help slow brain activity, calm the nervous system, and support a deep sense of rest and relaxation.
Join Jodie from Sanctuary Sound Therapy for a restorative sound therapy session under the shelter of our woodland centre. Nestled amongst the trees, you'll feel immersed in nature, with the glass doors open to the woodland beyond and the sounds of local wildlife all around you (while remaining protected from the unpredictable Suffolk weather!). Whether you're new to sound therapy or have attended sessions before, everyone is welcome and no prior experience is required.
What to expect:
- Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time
- Find a mat and make yourself comfortable (you are welcome to bring a blanket at pillow)
- A short introduction from Suffolk Wildlife Trust & Jodie
Time to relax, unwind and enjoy a restorative sound bath surrounded by the gentle sound of nature in our ancient woodland nature reserve.
There are limited spaces for this event so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
