About the event

Have fun creating a selection of small festive decorations, which you can optionally gather into a seasonal garland! This course is aimed at beginners, so no experience is needed, but a degree of manual dexterity and finger strength is required to weave with willow. You will be guided and supported by our tutor Jane throughout, who will introduce you to the ancient art of willow weaving. Jane is a local artist who first discovered willow weaving through hosting a course as a Suffolk Wildlife Trust volunteer and fell in love with it! She runs courses in Norfolk and Suffolk as 'Weave and Unwind'.

Tea and coffee will be provided. The café will be open from 10am-4.30pm, serving savoury food and sweet treats.
