At Suffolk Wildlife Trust, we’re a friendly team of nearly 100 people, all working across the county to bring nature back. Founded in 1961, we’re one of 46 Wildlife Trusts in the UK—and the only one dedicated solely to safeguarding Suffolk’s wildlife and countryside. We look after 7,700 acres spread over 60 nature reserves, from Lowestoft to Bury St Edmunds, helping our local habitats thrive.
Guided by our vision – A Wilder Suffolk where nature is thriving and abundant because everyone is doing more to help – we have a Conservation & Recovery team of wardens, ecologists, advisors, planners, advocates, and volunteers, plus an Engagement team that delivers events, training, and community activities. Everyone plays a part in protecting Suffolk’s incredible natural spaces. Take a look at our current vacancies or explore other ways to get involved and help us make Suffolk wilder.
