Willow weaver Jo Hammond will be leading 5 sessions over the Autumn and Winter, with a small group of people, to create a Stag beetle sculpture in the woods.
Stag beetles are one of the flagship species prioritised by Suffolk Wildlife Trust for conservation action, and can be found in Arger Fen, along with other rare and declining species such as the hazel dormouse and barbastelle bat.
The finished sculpture will highlight the importance of Arger Fen & Spouse's Vale as habitat for this species.
The session dates are: Fridays 24 October, 14 November, 5 December, 16 January & 13 February
When you make your booking, please ensure that you are available for all of the above dates.
All tools and equipment will be provided. You may wish to bring/wear gloves.
This project is generously supported by Dedham Vale National Landscape.
