About the event

Lackford Lakes comes alive when everyone else goes to bed! Join us as it gets dark to have a look at our moth traps in action and help identify these with a member of our team, search for bats with our bat detectors, and discover what the rest of our wildlife gets up to as the sun sets.

No need to book, please pay on arrival.

This event is open to all but please note for younger children it can get very dark on the reserve. 

The café on site will be open for the event with hot drinks and cake!

Please be aware as with all wildlife experiences we can never guarantee sightings, however we historically have a good number of moths and bats around the reserve.
