Wilder Schools
Nurturing young minds, growing wilder schools.
Join our Wilder Schools programme!
At Suffolk Wildlife Trust, we believe everyone should have access to nature and a role to play in tackling biodiversity loss and climate change.
Every school can be a Wilder School.
Our three-year programme helps pupils understand Suffolk's natural environment, discover local wildlife and build meaningful connections with nature that support their wellbeing. It also empowers teachers to bring nature into everyday learning, giving pupils the confidence and skills to take action for wildlife. Through simple, hands-on activities that enhance school grounds for nature, pupils learn to care for the natural world and explore future green and blue career pathways, helping to create a healthier, more sustainable future.
Not ready to join the programme? You can still be part of the Wilder Schools Movement through our free resources and by taking simple actions for wildlife.
Explore the resources below and share your journey with us on social media. Together, we can create a future where both people and wildlife thrive.
