About the event
The Autumn Palette
This autumn, join botanical illustrator and experienced tutor, Ruth Wharrier, on an exploration of autumn's spectacular palette of colours. Looking at seasonal subjects, Ruth will guide participants in colour identification, exact colour matching and step by step watercolour techniques. The focus will be on observational drawing and painting and achieving a 3D effect through the building of colour.
Some experience with watercolour is preferable. Participants will bring their own watercolours. Subjects are included and Hot Pressed Watercolour paper available from Ruth.
Participants will need to bring the following materials (not included in cost of course):

HP watercolour paper – available from Ruth
Watercolour set (Artist's quality preferable)
Sable watercolour brushes no.1,2,4,6. - available from Ruth
