About the event

  • Sales from 15 doorsteps in Woodbridge and local area over the weekend
  • Buy locally grown plants
  • Second hand books
  • Sales support Suffolk Wildlife Trust

“We usually hold our popular Plant Sale at Foxburrow Farm, Melton at the beginning of May, but unfortunately current restrictions mean that a large event such as this is not possible” said Phil Smith, Chair of the local group.  “However, we have come up with an alternative plan to take plants out into the community this year. Supporters in the Woodbridge area will be placing a table in their garden or on their doorstep during the weekend of 8 and 9 May, offering passers by the chance to browse locally grown plants and donated books, with funds from sales supporting Suffolk Wildlife Trust.”

Map Information sheet

“We have 15 gardens/doorsteps in Woodbridge and surrounding villages open during the weekend” continued Phil.” All sales will be in cash, so I’d urge customers to make sure they have plenty of coins available before visiting our doorstep tables” added Phil.  “An information sheet and trail map showing doorstep locations will be available. This will also highlight Suffolk Wildlife Trust reserves nearby and we hope that visitors will take the opportunity to visit a local reserve as well as seeking out our doorstep sales tables during this special weekend.”
