Go wild in the week activity day for home-educated children at R&L Fen September
About the event
Go Wild in the Week is an activity day for unaccompanied, home-educated children aged 6-11 years. We now meet each month and have a different theme for each session. This month we will be finding out all about creatures of the night and creating upcycled moths to be included in the 'Moths to a flame' installation in Glasgow's botanic gardens during COP26.
Booking is essential.
Important booking information:
If there is a reason that your child needs to be accompanied by an adult, please contact the Wild Learning Officer before booking on 01379 688333 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
In order to run activities for children safely while the COVID-19 pandemic is still in effect, there are a number of restrictions put in place, which are in the best interest of our participants, staff and volunteers. We appreciate you and your children following the guidelines we have set out.
It is important that you read and agree to the following information before you book onto the session.
- Each session will have a maximum of 15 children and all places must be booked in advance. No child will be admitted without a booking.
- During the session, we recommend that participants socially distance from other households. As this session is for unaccompanied children, please ensure you have reminded your child of this before the session.
- All participants will be required to use sanitising hand gel on arrival. This will be provided by us and will be available for your children to use at any additional points during the session, should they wish to.
- If you or a member of your household is showing ANY signs or symptoms of COVID-19, or you have been told by NHS Test and Trace to isolate, you must not attend the session.
We will limit sharing of equipment and all equipment used on the day will be cleaned after each session.
In booking onto Go Wild in the Week, you understand that if COVID-19 guidance that affects the running of the session is announced between time of booking and the date of the session, the session may have to be postponed or cancelled at short notice. Should this happen, you will be contacted as soon as possible using the email address and/or phone number supplied in the booking form.
