Event details
About the event
Joe Underwood, Trimley Marshes reserve warden will guide us through the mix of saltmarsh, mudflats, grazing marsh, lake, freshwater scrapes, scrub, and woodland that make up this beautiful reserve. We would hope to see a variety of butterflies and dragonflies visible in good weather. Otter and water vole too if we’re lucky! We should also see lovely summer flowers along the banks of the Orwell.
This coastline is great for waders in summer. We will hopefully see waders with their young. Other birds will include a variety of warblers, grebes, ducks, skylark, and linnet breed in good numbers.
We will meet at Searson's Farm, Keeper's Track, Trimley St Mary, IP11 0UD at 7pm, TM 278358
