About the event

Come celebrate National Poetry Day with a guided walk, beginning and ending at Felixstowe Library, in search of the ‘magic of the street’, or more simply put, the beauty in the everyday.

This event is free but booking in advance is encouraged. Reserve your free spot on TicketSource.

This session will begin at 12:00 at Felixstowe Library and be led by local writer Aruna Stannard. There will be an hour of gentle walking near to the town and along the seafront, with occasional stops for a poem along the way, and wrapped up with an optional 30-minute reflection over a hot drink back at the library.

Suitable for all ages. Everyone is welcome – including babies, toddlers and their grown-ups. Prams, baby carriers, snacks, wiggles and the occasional toddler interruption are all part of the experience!

One ticket covers one or two adults, as well as their children. So, you do not need to book multiple tickets per person in your family.

This activity will go ahead whatever the weather, so make sure you dress comfortably on the day.
