Wild Reads

Celebrating the connection between the natural world and the written word.

Each autumn, we share a collection of nature titles that capture the essence of the wild or explore stories of wildlife, landscapes, and environment. These Wild Reads are hand-picked by Suffolk Community Libraries and be reserves from any of their libraries across the county.

Wild Reads will return for the Festival of Nature from Sunday 20th September 2026!

Wild Reads is a partnership project between Suffolk Libraries and Suffolk Wildlife Trust which aims to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the very best nature writing - with the aim of inspiring and igniting a love of nature in readers through the lenses of a diverse variety of writers.
