We were recently approached by the group to take interested members on a guided walk around Martlesham Wilds to help raise awareness and support for the campaign. With over forty attendees Michael Strand SWT Community Fundraising Manager said ‘We’re continually amazed by the level of interest in Martlesham Wilds and how it is enthusing people from across Suffolk to get involved.’
Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s goal is to harness the collective energy and talents of our county and bring everyone together into a bigger, bolder movement for nature’s recovery. We’re calling this #Teamwilder.
Jane, a spokesperson for Deben Yacht club said ‘Thank you so much for guiding us around Martlesham Wilds on Saturday. We have never had so many members turn out for a non-sailing event before. I had lots of complementary messages from members afterwards saying what a beautiful place it was, how exciting plans for the future were, how good the staff were and we will be encouraging fellow members to make a donation.’
