Enjoy activities on the beach in celebration of National Marine Week and connect with the coastal environment near you.

Join us on Lowestoft beach at the new development along the seafront for a range of activities including beach art, exploring marine animals and plants, sand castle building and beach cleans. There will be 3 sessions across the summer holidays and we will be doing different activities each session. You can attend these sessions individually or attend all 3 to develop your connection with the coast and the ocean:

  • Friday 31st July- Beachcombing, identifying, beach clean
  • Friday 7th August- Sensory activities, beach art
  • Friday 21st August-Exploring coastal plants, crafts, food chain games

Sessions are suitable for families and aimed at children aged 3+. Younger children are welcome but some activities may not be accessible for them. All children must be supervised by an adult and we encourage adults to join in on the activities.
