To give nature the best chance to recover from the effects of human activity and the climate crisis, it's essential to create more space in our landscape in which nature can recover and become abundant again.

Join Jenny Rawson, SWT wilder landscapes advice manager, to discover how purchasing land to manage for wildlife can be an incredibly productive & rewarding step for community groups or parish councils. 

We will host two local community groups who have already taken this step successfully. They will share their experiences: providing insights and guidance on creating a vision, planning for wildlife, finding land, negotiating and how to combine community & owner requirements with the needs of wildlife. A legal adviser will be on hand to answer your questions and deliver top level advice on what legal processes and responsibilities you’ll need to consider.

If you are a community with a vision to make a difference for wildlife and do not own land yourself, this webinar will help and inspire you to take action.

This Wilder Communities Webinar is part of a series of events for communities. It is scheduled to last approximately an hour plus a questions & answers session. Suffolk Wildlife Trust uses the Zoom platform for its webinars and, when you book, you will receive simple instructions on how to join the event from the comfort of your own home. Subtitles are available.
