About the event

HOUSE COLLECTIVE members are hosting a communal Field & Table tasting event, celebrating local ingredients, food, foraging and the relationship between people and place. This social event will include communal eating and small bites, created by the collective and local businesses.

The event will explore where our food comes from and how local landscapes, traditions and communities shape what we eat.

Gather round and enjoy foraged appetisers created by the collective, this interactive taste experience will invite you to discuss with the group, the themes of the day whilst we explore the local area through our palette.

The event will include:

• Locally sourced ingredients and produce
• Conversations around food, nature, locality and heritage
• Informal discussion prompts for guests
• A HOUSE COLLECTIVE-designed zine, created by the young people and given to attendees to take home

The event provides HOUSE COLLECTIVE members hands-on experience of menu development, cooking, hosting, food heritage, interpretation, design and event delivery.
