About the event
This is a family course for adults and children (8+ years), taught by wet felting artist, Lizzie Brown.
Everyone will create their own unique felted item to take home with them by the end of the workshop. You will be able to choose to create either a picture or a flower hair slide or brooch.
You will use colourful fine merino sheep wool and sparkly fibres to create pictures or flowers. Soap and water and a massage technique will be used to turn the wool fibres into a felt fabric.
Plenty of materials will be provided, but each participant will need to bring a towel to absorb the soap and water. You might also like to bring ideas and pictures that will inspire you when creating a picture.
Parents/carers pay the usual £28 price for an adult place and can bring their 8+ year olds with them for just £10 extra.
Lizzie runs creative felting workshops throughout East Anglia www.feltfantastic.uk . Her aim is to share her passion, ideas and creativity with people who want the opportunity to try something new, be creative and have fun.
