Basket Trug workshop
About the event
Students will learn how to weave a rectangular base, create borders on each end, shape the basket and add a handle. This basket is ideal for collecting cut flowers and herbs from the garden. Students will learn skills to enable them to move onto more complicated baskets.
The course is suitable for those with no prior knowledge of basketry. Karen will give step by step instructions and guide you to create this lovely basket trug to take home with you. All materials are included in the cost of the course.
You can see some of Karen's beautiful craftwork on her website at: www.karenlawrencebasketry.com
