About the event

Rob will guide us around the BTO’s Nunnery Lakes Reserve - a County Wildlife Site, which lies to the south of Thetford between the Rivers Thet and Little Ouse.

A series of lakes created by old gravel workings, the Nunnery Lakes Reserve is managed by the BTO and contains a rich variety of Breckland habitats within a relatively small area. These include dry, sandy heathland, wet woodland and flood meadow - home to a remarkable range of resident and seasonal wildlife in the Little Ouse valley.

Please meet at the Nunnery Bridge Car Park, IP24 2EP, next to the BTO headquarters.
