What you will be doing:

You might like to assist in the visitor centre. This will involve welcoming and assisting visitors, serving drinks/cake/gifts, using a till and talking to visitors about joining Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

You might like to help the wild learning officer with school groups, events and activity days. This might involve helping the participants to complete tasks such as crafts, trails or finding minibeasts. You may also be required to help prepare resources.

Full training will be given.

The skills you need:

  • A good communicator, friendly and always willing to help.
  • An interest in wildlife and enjoy talking passionately about Lackford and the Trust to visitors.
  • A desire to work with a variety of people from toddlers to adults!

What you'll get out of it:

The chance to be part of a friendly and enthusiastic team. You'll learn new skills and share your enthusiasm for wildlife, learning more about the work of the Trust along the way. Lackford is also a beautiful place to spend time.

The time you need to give:

We have a variety of times that need filling depending on what you might be doing that day!
