About the event

Children can visit Father Christmas in his grotto on the marshes.

All children will have a chance to talk to Father Christmas, have their photo taken (please bring your own camera, photographer not provided) and will receive a wildlife-themed gift. 

One family ticket (1 child with up to two accompanying adults) is available for each time slot (you will not share your timeslot with any other families). If you wish to bring an additional child/children, please purchase the required number of 'additional child' tickets alongside your family ticket. Please only book multiple time slots if you have more than 3 children.

Please Note- our grotto will  be held inside the visitor centre in our Discovery Room due to the unpredictable weather we have had recently. Please arrive at the time on your ticket to see Father Christmas. 

Suitable for children aged 0-11 years. Older siblings are welcome to attend but will not receive a gift. Please specify child's age when booking to ensure an appropriate gift is provided.

Please be aware that each family will have approximately 10 minutes with Father Christmas, regardless of the number of children you bring, so if you are a large group, you may wish to consider purchasing tickets for more than one time slot. After visiting Father Christmas there will be a number of festive activities to enjoy and each child will receive a homemade shortbread. 

The grotto is fully wheelchair-accessible. Pushchairs welcome.
