Discover how to identify common trees in Summer in the stunning location of Bradfield Woods.
This course will cover how to identify common trees and shrubs in the countryside using their leaves, flowers, fruit, bark and location, with an opportunity to practice skills indoors and in the field. Suitable for beginners.
Andrew Holtham is a tree enthusiast and the author of a Winter Guide to the Common Trees of Hertfordshire. Copies of Andrew's book will be available to purchase for cash on the day.
You will need:
Tree guide (if you have one)
Hand lens (if you have one)
A packed lunch
Clothing and footwear suitable for the walk
notepad and pen
Tea and coffee will be provided and are included in the cost of the course, please bring a mug.
