Adult learning courses - terms and conditions

Places on all courses must be booked and paid for in advance.

You will receive confirmation of your booking and joining instructions by email.  In the unlikely event that you do not receive these or if you have a query regarding your booking, please contact us on 01473 890089 between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Places are non-refundable unless the course is cancelled.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust reserves the right to cancel a course and, in these circumstances, will fully refund course fees.

Applications to transfer to an alternative course will be considered at Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s discretion and may result in the place being cancelled without refund if an alternative course cannot be found.

If you are unable to attend for any reason, you may give your place to someone else. Please let us know the name of the person attending in your place advising us of any specific needs they may have. If you are unable to fill your place, this may result in the place being cancelled without refund.

All courses will run subject to a minimum number of students.  The decision as to whether the course goes ahead is usually made one week in advance of the course; you are, therefore, strongly advised to book before this time.

Circumstances may require that course tutors change from those named.  Provided a tutor of equal standing is secured, participants will not be notified in advance.  Refunds will only be given in the unlikely event that a replacement tutor is unavailable.

All courses are non-residential.

All materials and tea and coffee are included in the price unless otherwise stated.

Some courses require participants to bring their own equipment; this will be clearly stated.  An equipment list (if appropriate) will be sent with the booking confirmation or can be requested by contacting wild.learning@suffolkwildlifetrust.org

Lunch is not included on any of the courses.

Unless specified, courses are run for adults aged 18 years and over.

Our courses are designed to be informative, friendly and fun.  Please note that while you may leave with some expertise, these courses do not count towards any formal qualification unless otherwise stated.  We do offer accredited courses; please see website for details.

Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring that our courses are accessible for everyone.  Please contact us on 01473 890089 or at wild.learning@suffolkwildlifetrust.org if you have any specific needs or requirements.
