About the event

Join the Suffolk Wildlife Trust team for an evening walk around Martlesham Wilds, detecting, surveying, listening and learning about the bats that that we find. We will discuss how we hope populations may change in the future and why these species are so important. We will also think about what we can all do to help bats in our gardens and parks locally. Bat detectors will be provided.

Mobility

The footpaths are well used, but can get muddy and bumpy at times. We will walk approximately 2 miles and walking will be at a gentle pace. Unfortunately, this walk is not suitable for those unable to walk very far. Paths are bumpy and we will need to navigate these in the dark.
