About the event

Explore Carlton Marshes as a family guided by our knowledgeable wildlife guides. Enjoy seeing the beginnings of the Spring wildlife, learn more about the marshes and celebrate being out in nature as a family.

Suitable for children aged 5+ (babies in carriers welcome and don't need a ticket). Route may not be pushchair accessible. 

The walk will be around 2 hours so please come prepared for a long walk!

A Public Space Protection Order on the reserve requires dogs to be kept on a lead at all times. This is to protect the wildlife and delicate habitats.

What to bring

It is advised that you bring sturdy walking boots or wellies, suitable outdoor clothing, and binoculars. Binoculars will be available to hire from the Visitor Centre for £4 on the day if you don't have any. 

The route is unlikely to be pushchair accessible so please contact before booking if you wish to bring a pushchair.
