Forest School Training

Suffolk Wildlife Trust is Suffolk's leading provider of Forest School Leader Training for teachers and practitioners.

Forest School is an outdoor education approach where students visit woodlands and use natural resources to stimulate imaginative, creative, and investigative learning. Children can saw wood, whittle sticks, climb trees, build shelters, and help to light fires - all whilst learning about nature, wildlife, and the environment. These self-led activities help young people to take risks safely, take responsiblity for their actions, and take care of themselves and others.
