About the event

Suffolk Wildlife Trust is the county's nature charity; caring for over 7,100 acres of land across 50 nature reserves for the protection and restoration of local wildlife. The Trust also runs over 300 events every year and engages with local schools, communities, farmers, and businesses to help bring back nature.

All of this work for nature wouldn't possible without the incredible support of volunteers.

If you love nature and want to help Suffolk's love wildlife and natural environment, become a volunteer at Suffolk Wildlife Trust!

Join us at Carlton Marshes - near Lowestoft- for a relaxed opportunity to meet Trust staff and volunteers to hear first-hand about volunteering for Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

No need to book, turn up whenever you can between 11am and 3pm.

On a lead

A Public Space Protection Order on the reserve requires dogs to be kept on a lead at all times. This is to protect the wildlife and delicate habitats of the reserve.

Why must dogs be kept on a lead?
