About the event

An exceptional ancient woodland that has been under continuous traditional coppice management since 1252, Bradfield Woods is a haven for wildlife. Coppice shoots regenerate, their dense bushy growth provides excellent cover for songbirds as well as mammals such as the stoat, yellow-necked mouse, dormouse and badger.

In November, the leaves on the trees will be turning to liquid amber, Kevin will guide you on the techniques you can employ to capture the perfect shot and provide you with some hints & tips for getting the best out of your camera. You will receive one-to-one as well as group guidance on optimising your composition and have the chance to put some novel techniques into practice on this lovely reserve. 

You will need to bring:
All camera equipment (including spare batteries, memory cards)
Notebook and pen
A tripod would be useful 
A packed lunch and all refreshments you may need
Please wear stout footwear and weather-suitable clothing for the outdoor session.

We plan to be serving teas & coffees on arrival and hope that social distancing will not be necessary. However, we will be adhering to Government Covid guidelines for this event, with specific details of any restrictions  being communicated to you nearer the time.
