We have many amazing visitor destinations in Suffolk and we are looking for someone who loves working with people, loves being out doors and is looking for a way to join a leading conservation charity.

This role needs you to be able to cover catering and visitor welcome at two of our key sites, Lackford Lakes and Knettishall Heath.

The Visitor Welcome and Catering Assistant will be the welcoming face of a proactive engagement team and provide a natural meeting point from which to build visitor engagement. Our business aim is for our reserve and visitor experience program to be financially self-sustaining, so as to support conservation, learning and access to nature in the long term.

Your role in achieving this is through the delivery of excellent customer service and visitor engagement, high quality service and presentation of displays, food & beverages.

This is a collaborative role, working with colleagues to provide the excellent visitor experience, engagement & learning we aspire to.

This is a zero hours contract but we expect to be able to offer approximately 20 -30 hours a week (may be more in main season and less in off season) Regular and frequent weekend, school holiday and bank holiday working. Hours to be distributed across team rota.
