Redgrave & Lopham Fen: Join local master preserver, Janet Peachey, of Peacheys Preserves at this masterclass. You will learn how to make a variety of delicious chutneys & preserves, which will make lovely Christmas gifts for your friends and family.

About the event

Using a wide range of different Autumnal ingredients, including windfalls and other bounty, Janet will suggest a wealth of different recipes and flavour combinations to inspire you. Janet will show you how to use a variety of ingredients to create different flavours and give you lots of new ideas for recipes. Janet runs her own successful business, Peacheys Preserves, where she makes all her preserves by hand using family recipes, creating new recipes and using the finest own-grown wild and local produce. Please bring: a sharp kitchen knife a measuring jug wooden spoon jam funnel (if you have one) although Janet will have a few oven gloves apple peeler apron a packed lunch.

There will be a charge of £8 for Janet's ingredients and jars. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included in the price.
